Narendra Modi shows a different clip of manmohan Singh...
Prime minister Narendra Modi doubled down on his earlier assertion on Friday, claiming that fresh footage from the past had surdata-faced showing former PM manmohan singh purporting to restate his claim that "Muslims have the first right to the country's wealth." PM Modi attacked the opposition congress party and its "ecosystem" during an election rally in the bihar constituency of Araria Lok Sabha. The congress party had angrily denied that Singh had ever made such a claim. "When I mention that only Muslims are given priority by congress, some people become quite upset. Since last week, they have been chatting about me. I challenge them all today, PM Modi declared.
PM Modi charged that the media was singling him out for special attention while dismissing the data that backed up his assertions. "They said that manmohan singh had never made a statement similar to this. Nevertheless, PM Modi claimed that another of his previous recordings has surdata-faced today in which he makes the same claim. "The media has stopped refuting my claims, which they were doing previously. "I was observing how the media was disparaging me without gathering pertinent facts or even conducting a fact check," he continued.
Amit Malviya, the chairman of the BJP's IT cell, posted a video on X where manmohan singh seems to be answering questions from the press. manmohan singh is heard stating, "I did not say the same thing," in the footage, which does not include the segment where the reporter asks the question. I stated that underprivileged minorities, especially Muslim minorities, had a first claim on the country's resources. I stand by my statement that "all" minorities, especially Muslim minorities, have a first claim to resources if they are impoverished.
