TDP Senior Leader Defects.?
During a gathering in the joint east godavari district platform, a significant blow hit the tdp as kakinada district leader and senior tdp member Yanamala Krishnadu joined the YSRCP in the presence of chief minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy. Yanamala Krishnadu, along with tdp leaders P. Seshagiri Rao, P. Harikrishna, and L. Bhaskar, officially joined the YSRCP during the event, where jagan himself welcomed them into the party by adorning them with a scarf.
Notable YSRCP candidates Chalamalashetty sunil for mp and Dashetty raja for mla were also present. Expressing his reasons for switching allegiances, Yanamala Krishnadu voiced his disillusionment with the tdp leadership, citing issues of ticket distribution favouring affluent and nri candidates over long-standing party members. He lamented the lack of recognition for his decades-long commitment to the party and criticized TDP's treatment of BCs, exemplifying his own experience.
Yanamala Krishnadu emphadata-sized his dedication to serving the people and expressed admiration for cm Jagan's governance over the past five years, which motivated his decision to join the YSRCP. Affirming his support for YS jagan Mohan Reddy's leadership, Yanamala Krishnadu pledged to work tirelessly to ensure Jagan's re-election as Chief Minister. Additionally, he pledged his efforts to secure victories for YSRCP candidates chalamalasetty sunil in the kakinada mp seat and Dassetty raja in the tuni mla seat.
Yanamala Krishnadu's defection underscores the shifting political landscape in the region and adds momentum to the YSRCP's campaign ahead of the elections.
