Taneti Vanitha - Can a shift of seat bring her a victory?
• Her seat was shifted to Gopalapuram after internal surveys
• tdp gets a good stronghold and a victory by a huge margin is certain
AP home Minister Taneti Vanitha seems to have a hard time winning this time. No one locally likes the fact that the constituencies are changing for every election along with the change of political parties. Taneti Vanitha, who won as Gopalapuram mla in 2009 from tdp, later joined ycp and contested in the 2014 and 2019 elections there.
After winning in 2019, she became a minister. Presently she is the home Minister. In the kovvur constituency, she was met with as much opposition as she wanted. In addition to Jagan's surveys, it was found that Vanitha would lose the seat in kovvur by a landslide margin and she was shifted to Gopalapuram where she contested in the past. And mla Talari venkata rao was shifted to Kovvur.
Even if Vanitha changes her seat, there is no chance that her fate will change in the elections. tdp candidate Maddipati Venkatraju's nomination was canceled during the nominations the other day. YSRCP was disappointed when the number of people did not show up during the nominations. Most of the key leaders in the constituency are not coming behind her and they ignore her.
It is said that Vanitha is clashing with Jeevi, who is very close to Jagan. Jeevi is also financially strong and is the leading leader in Devarapalli Mandal. It is said that such leaders are not paying much attention to Vanita's victory now. There have been internal politics inside the YSRCP party itself.
Venkatraju's push from tdp is not normal anymore. He got a complete grip on the constituency for a year and a half penetrated every village and got a good hold. Moreover, the strong sections of tdp have joined hands and a huge majority is set as a target. However, even if Vanitha changes her seat, it seems difficult to change the inevitable.
