Congress candidate from Karnal gets big relief from HC...The court on friday (May 3) granted bail to congress candidate from Karnal seat, Divyanshu Budhiraja, in a six-year-old case. Former haryana CM manohar lal khattar is the candidate from bjp on this seat. Buddhiraja surrendered before the court in Panchkula. A non-bailable warrant was issued against him.Relief given in 2018 caseAccording to the Bar and Bench report, Budhiraja was given relief by Judicial Magistrate Arunima Chauhan. The congress candidate had filed an application in which he assured that he would remain present before the court. In the 2018 case, the lawyers presented their side before the court. In the year 2023, the court had declared Buddhiraja a fugitive. During cross-examination in the court on friday, his lawyer said that the case was negotiable and bailable.
