Electric train service started between chennai Beach to Tiruvannamalai! Do you know how much the fee is?

The electric train service between chennai Beach and Thiruvannamalai started one-way as the extension of the train service was said to be postponed due to administrative reasons. The passenger train running from Thiruvannamalai to tambaram via Villupuram was stopped in May 2007. tambaram train service suspended for conversion of meter gauge railway line between Villupuram - Katpadi to broad gauge. The tambaram train service, which was stopped after the construction of broad gauge railway line was completed in 2 years, has not been resumed.

There was a demand from all quarters including devotees, businessmen and students to start the train service again from Tiruvannamalai to Chennai. In this case, after a request made for 18 years, Southern Railway announced last week that the MEMU train, which runs daily from chennai beach to Vellore Cantonment railway station, will be extended to Tiruvannamalai.

It was announced that the train will depart from chennai Beach on May 2nd at 6 pm and reach Tiruvannamalai railway station at 12.05 midnight, then depart from Tiruvannamalai on the next day at 4 am and reach chennai Beach at 9.50 am. However, while it was said that the extension of the train service was postponed, the train service started from yesterday.
