ED raids are going on in various areas of Ranchi. So far more than Rs 20 crore has been counted.

Jharkhand ED Raid

On monday morning, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided 9 places in Jharkhand. This includes the houses of engineers and politicians. During this raid, crores of rupees in cash were seized from the residence of sanjeev kumar Lal, the domestic help of the private secretary of Alamgir Alam, the Rural Development minister of the jharkhand government.

A bundle of notes has been ordered from the residence of the servant of sanjeev kumar Lal, the private secretary of Alamgir Alam. The recovered cash is being counted. It is being told that so far more than Rs 20 crore has been counted. The ED arrested Virendra Ram, Chief engineer of jharkhand Rural Development Department, in february 2023 in a money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the implementation of some schemes.

IAS pooja Singhal's house was raided

On this day two years ago, ED raided the house of IAS pooja Singhal in Jharkhand. The raid was conducted in mining related cases, after which ED arrested pooja Singhal on charges of financial embezzlement of MNREGA in some districts of Jharkhand. Singhal has been in custody since May 11, 2022. Apart from the 2000 batch IAS officer, her businessman husband, a chartered accountant associated with the couple and others were also raided by the ED as part of the money laundering investigation.
