First data of third phase of voting released in Bihar...Voting is going on peacefully in five seats of bihar in the third phase of lok sabha elections. These include the seats of Araria, Jhanjharpur, Khagaria, Madhepura and Supaul. If we look at the voting percentage till 9 am, 10.97 percent voting took place in Araria, 8.55 percent in Jhanjharpur, 10.41 percent in Khagaria, 10.71 percent in Madhepura and 11.41 percent in Supaul. If seen in terms of voting percentage, till now the highest turnout has been in Supaul at 11.41 percent, while the lowest turnout has been in Jhanjharpur at 8.55 percent. A total of 98.60 lakh voters will exercise their franchise in the third phase of elections. A total of 9,848 polling stations have been made for these. Strict security arrangements have been made. Voters are being sent inside to vote only after matching them with Voter ID and other evidence. Voting percentage on Supaul seatSupaul has recorded the highest voting percentage so far at 11.41 percent. Here Dileshwar Kamat is contesting from RJD's Singheshwar mla Chandrahas Chaupal. Both have claimed their respective victories.Voting percentage in Araria seatTill 9 am in Araria lok sabha seat of Seemanchal, 10.97 percent voting took place. On this seat, BJP's pradeep Kumar Singh is contesting against former RJD minister Shahnawaz Alam. AIMIM has also fielded its candidate here.Voting percentage in Madhepura seatSo far in Madhepura it has been 10.71 percent. Here dinesh chandra yadav of JDU is contesting against Dr. Kumar Chandradeep of RJD.
