A major accident took place at faridabad railway station in haryana on friday morning. Two coaches of a goods train loaded with coal going from agra to delhi derailed near faridabad railway station at around 9.30 am. However, no one was reported injured during this. It has not been revealed yet why the coaches of the goods train derailed. At present, railway employees are trying to bring the coaches back on track.

Railway police SHO Rajpal informed that a goods train was going from mathura to delhi via the loop line. During this, when the goods train reached the underpass of faridabad, suddenly two of its coaches derailed. Immediately after receiving the information, RPF and GRP as well as top railway officials reached the spot. At the same time, railway employees started trying to bring the train back on track.

If it had been a passenger train, there could have been a big loss

SHO Rajpal said that during the accident, the coal loaded in the goods train got scattered. But if there was a passenger train instead of a goods train, there could have been a big loss. No passenger train was affected due to the accident. The operation of trains continued smoothly. At present, railway employees are engaged in rescue. At the same time, an investigation will be conducted regarding the incident to find out what was the reason for the coach to derail.

An accident had also happened in punjab a few days ago

Let us tell you that a similar incident had come to light in punjab on june 2. Two people were injured due to the collision of two trains near Fatehgarh Sahib on the Amritsar-Delhi railway line. According to the information, the engine of a goods train derailed and collided with a passenger train.
