Congress demands filing of case against officers…The echo of fake bill scam in indore Nagar Nigam is still being heard. Today, congress delegation met the investigating officer demanding filing of case against the officer involved in the scam. Congressmen led by leader of Opposition Chintu Chouksey in the corporation also demanded filing of case against Municipal Corporation's Additional Commissioner Veerbhadra Sharma. Chintu Chouksey said that action should be taken against the officer who paid crores on fake bill.Congress delegation led by Chouksey met DCP Pankaj Pandey who is investigating the case. In the memorandum submitted to the DCP, it was said that the fake bill scam of indore Nagar Nigam is worth crores. police is not trying to get to the bottom of the big scam till now.Why no case against Additional Commissioner- CongressHe said that two officers of the audit department involved in the scam have been made accused. But two other officers along with them have been left out. Similarly, no case has been registered against indore Municipal Corporation's Additional Commissioner Veerbhadra Sharma, who paid crores.Demand to make audit officers accused tooHe said that for the fairness of the investigation, it is necessary that Additional Commissioner Veerbhadra Sharma and both audit officers should also be made accused in the criminal case. Chaukse demanded that all three be arrested and questioned regarding the scam. The DCP accepted the memorandum of the congress delegation and assured appropriate action.
