And if any mla resigns, the Speaker has the right to accept it. The speaker also has the right to disqualify the MLAs who violate the constitution. The tenure of such Speaker shall be five years. But if the Speaker resigns in between, he has to give his resignation letter to the Deputy Speaker. MLAs can also move a motion of no confidence to remove the Speaker. According to Article 94, the Speaker of the assembly can be removed. And the salaries of assembly Speakers will be more than one lakh. In each state, each speaker receives a different salary.
