Congress leader Aswathaman is remanded in the Armstrong murder case until august 21.


Congress leader and lawyer Aswathaman has been arrested by the special forces police in connection with the murder of Bahujan Samaj state president Armstrong.


Aswathaman was arrested by the special forces police based on the information provided by Arul, an already arrested lawyer, in the Armstrong murder case. Aswathamman allegedly pointed a gun at Armstrong during a land dispute in Morai near Cholavaram a few months ago.


It seems that there was a previous enmity between the two, and because of this, Rowdy Nagendran, Aswathaman's father, called Armstrong on his cell phone and spoke threateningly. The police suspected that there might be a conspiracy in prison to kill Armstrong and that his son Aswathaman might be involved.

In this situation, on Tuesday, Aswathaman was interrogated in this regard. lawyer Aswathaman has been arrested as his involvement in the investigation has been confirmed. Aswathaman is the 22nd person to be arrested in connection with Armstrong's murder.


Meanwhile, tamil Nadu youth Congress State President Lenin prasad has said that Ashwathaman has been removed from all responsibilities including basic membership of the party. In this case, Aswathaman's court custody has been extended till august 21.
