Heavy rains caused havoc in three different parts of himachal pradesh on the intervening night of 31 July and 1 August. Here 55 people went missing due to cloudburst in shimla district, Kullu district and Mandi district. Not only this, private property along with government property also suffered heavy damage in the state. The prime minister of the country narendra modi may also come to himachal pradesh to visit the disaster affected area. Earlier his visit to himachal pradesh was proposed on Monday, but his visit was postponed due to bad weather.


PM Modi may come to Himachal in future - cm Sukhu

himachal pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the Chief Secretary was talked to by the Prime Minister's Office. He wanted to come to himachal pradesh to visit the disaster affected area. However, his visit was postponed due to bad weather. chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that in the coming time, prime minister narendra modi may come to visit the disaster affected area. He said that the state government hopes that in the coming time, the central government will help himachal pradesh after the disaster.


A total of 55 people were missing from three places

On the morning of august 1, 12 people went missing from Bagipul in Kallu, 33 from Samej in shimla and 10 from Tikkan in Mandi. dna tests of the relatives have also been done to identify the bodies found in the search operation. The rain that started day and night on July 31 completely damaged 60 houses, while 35 houses were partially damaged. Apart from this, 19 cattle sheds also came under its grip.
