Chief Minister's appeal to the striking doctors
He appealed to the striking doctors to continue treating the patients. Expressing sympathy with the striking doctors, the chief minister said, "I would like to appeal to all the fellow doctors of the state that your government stands with you in your pain, but treatment of the patients of the state is also very important. Doctors protest against kolkata incident

The junior doctor was on night duty in the hospital on august 8. In the morning, the body of the female doctor was found in a semi-nude condition from the seminar hall on the fourth floor. There was an uproar after the rape was confirmed in the post-mortem report.
