'Ruthless' final battle against Maoists
The Maoists are carrying out an armed revolution in the hope that through the ideology of Maoism, they can form a left-wing government in India. There was a time when the Maoists had the upper hand in various states of India. But at present, there are very few Maoists in some states including chhattisgarh, Odisha, maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
Union home minister amit shah held a meeting with chief secretaries of chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, telangana and Maharashtra. The meeting was attended by chhattisgarh Chief minister Vishnudeo Sai.
Union home minister amit shah told reporters after the meeting that 17,000 civilians have been killed due to Maoist violence in the country. Maoist attacks have come down by 50% in the last 10 years. By 2026, we will wipe out Maoists from India.
This is the time to start the final battle against the Maoists. Ruthless strategies are necessary in this final battle. The financial structure of the Maoists, including the Enforcement Directorate, has already been destroyed. The country can be freed from Maoist terrorism by 2026. Therefore, the Maoists should give up violence and surrender. All infrastructure facilities are being taken up in Maoist affected areas. So that the youth will no longer go after the Maoists. This was stated by Union minister amit Shah.
