Sukhbir Badal's close aide Hardeep Singh joins AAP…
Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon, who said goodbye to Shiromani Akali Dal, joined aam aadmi party along with his supporters on Wednesday. Dhillon was considered close to Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal. Dimpy Dhillon was angry over not being given ticket from Gidderbaha assembly seat, due to which he left Akali Dal on Sunday. It is worth noting that after punjab congress chief amarinder singh Raja Vading was elected as lok sabha mp from Ludhiana, Gidderbaha assembly seat became vacant, due to which by-election is to be held on this seat. In view of this, Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon left Akali Dal and joined AAP.
chief minister Bhagwant Mann reached Gidderbaha on Wednesday, where he inducted Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon and his supporters into the Aam Aadmi Party. Dhillon contested the Gidderbaha assembly elections on an Akali Dal ticket in 2017 and 2022. In 2022, he lost to amarinder singh Raja Vading of the congress by 1300 votes.
'The party has left Dimpy Dhillon'
cm Bhagwant Mann, while getting Dimpy Dhillon to join the aam aadmi party, said that he has not left the Akali Dal but the party has left him. When good ideas and valuable persons are not given importance inside a party, then people are forced to leave the party. Let us tell you that Dimpy Dhillon has parted ways with the party at a time when a section of the party is facing the biggest rebellion in its history. After the defeat in the lok sabha elections, many party leaders have rebelled against sukhbir singh badal and he is being asked to step down as party chief. While addressing the gathering, cm Mann said that whenever he came to Gidderbaha as an artist, he got a lot of love. Even now people love him a lot. Seeing the crowd here, he does not feel that there is a need to ask for votes here. The work of other parties is already done here. sukhbir singh badal himself cannot contest elections from here and Dimpy is no longer with him. Now he will not get votes even in the name of Panth.
