Jharkhand's first transgender became CHO!!!


Transgender Amir Mahato has become the first district health Officer (CHO) of jharkhand and Bihar. chief minister Hemant Soren on thursday (August 29) handed over the appointment letter to Amir Mahato of West Singhom district as CMO. After receiving her appointment letter as district Medical Director, Amir Mahato said that her mother wanted to become a nurse but due to family reasons it could not happen. Since then her mother always encouraged her to study. After a lot of hard work, he was able to fulfill his mother's wish.


No complaint to God
After receiving the appointment letter from cm Hemant Soren, Amir Mahato said that she is not ashamed of being a transgender and she has no complaint to god for this. She appealed to the people of her community that they should all try to move forward by studying. She had to struggle a lot since childhood, but still she managed to achieve this success. Now she wants to help the society.


Studies will continue in future
Amir Mahato got appointed in jharkhand after doing M.Sc Nursing from Sambalpur Nursing college of Odisha. She said that except three boys, all the girls in the class were there and everyone, especially from the principal to the students, were cooperative. She believes that studies will continue in future and she will leave no stone unturned in providing health facilities to the people through CHO.
