The farmers of Delhi's urbanized villages were troubled for a long time by the strange rules and regulations of the ban on mutation of ancestral lands. They were constantly pleading to the Lieutenant governor and the delhi government for a solution to this problem in their 11 demands. Now this major problem of theirs has been solved by the Lieutenant governor with the announcement made on the occasion of PM Modi's birthday on tuesday (17 September), which has brought relief to about two lakh farmers of 100 urbanized villages.
This has cleared the way for the farmers of urbanized villages to get ownership rights on agricultural land on ancestral basis. The farmers of about a hundred villages in North, North-West and West delhi were suffering the most due to the stoppage of mutation of agricultural land.

Under this, instructions were given to register the ownership of agricultural land in the urbanized villages of the capital on the basis of inheritance. This has brought great relief to lakhs of people who have been struggling for a long time. lg said that now mutation will be done in delhi on the basis of inheritance like before. The work of which will start in 12 villages from this Friday. For this, camps will be set up in the villages by the administration.

lg VK Saxena apologized for the trouble caused to the farmers due to the stoppage of mutation of agricultural land since the year 2010 and said, "This work should have been done long ago." lg said, "Today is PM Modi's birthday on tuesday, this day will be remembered as a special day for the villages of Delhi." He said that now the revenue officer will do the mutation on the basis of inheritance of agricultural land in the urbanized villages of delhi, as was done earlier. He has come among them in this program only after signing the related order. Lt. governor VK Saxena said that it was very unfortunate that after the death of the poor farmer, his children were not able to get the land registered in their name. For this, they had to wander from door to door.
