Building a house in these cities of UP not easy?
Building a house in these cities of UP not easy…?
The yogi adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh is now going to prepare a master plan for 63 cities with a population of 50 thousand to one lakh. After the implementation of the master plan, the map will be passed in these cities on the basis of land use on the lines of metros. Due to which arbitrariness in building construction will stop. A high level consensus has been reached in the Housing Department regarding this. The government had earlier prepared a master plan for cities with a population of more than one lakh.
In fact, chief minister yogi adityanath has given the order to develop small cities in a planned manner on the lines of big cities and prepare standards for building construction. In this sequence, the Housing Department is going to prepare building construction and development rules. This rule will be implemented in all those cities where there is no development authority. That is, now it will be implemented in cities with nagar Palika Parishad and nagar Panchayat.
The Housing Department is preparing a master plan for 59 cities associated with the Amrit Yojana in the first phase, which is now about to be completed. In the second phase, there is a plan to prepare a master plan for 63 cities. After the plan is prepared, building construction will be permitted and the map will be passed according to it.
Arbitrary behaviour in building construction will be stopped
Illegal construction is a big problem in small cities as there are no standards for building construction. This is also leading to unplanned expansion of cities. Due to non-implementation of model development rules, people are getting buildings constructed arbitrarily. Especially residential and commercial buildings built against the standards on land adjacent to roads are increasing the danger. Keeping this in mind, there is a plan to implement the rules. At present, the map is passed at the board level. In cities where there is no development authority, the map is passed as per the rules of the board of municipal bodies. In this, no care is taken of land use and floor area ratio. In such a situation, there is a lot of arbitrariness in passing big maps.
