A grand Sarvadharma prayer meeting was organized on sunday (September 29) for the peace of the soul of late Chandra Narayan Prasad, father of mp Pappu Yadav, at Rangbhoomi Maidan in Purnia. jharkhand chief minister hemant Soren reached Purnia by special plane in this program and paid tribute to the departed soul. hemant Soren offered flowers on the picture of late Chandra Narayan prasad and prayed for his salvation.
Apart from this, Union minister of State Ramnath Thakur, mp Dr. Misa Bharti, mp Dharmashila Gupta, mukesh Sahni, bihar Government minister Lesy Singh, bjp State President and minister Dr. dilip Jaiswal, Kanhaiya Kumar, famous teacher Khan Sir, HAM spokesperson Mohd. Danish Rizwan, former mp Dulal Chandra Goswami and many other leaders of the country attended the meeting.

Earlier, the prayer meeting was started by gurus of all religions, where representatives of anand Marg, Sanatan, Islam, Christianity, sikhism and buddhism prayed for the peace of the soul of late Chandra Narayan Prasad. Bhajan Kirtan was organized by Kumar Satyam and other artists, which continued throughout the day.

On this occasion, Pappu Yadav said that his father was always engaged in serving the poor and the deprived, and his ideal life is a source of inspiration for him. He thanked all the dignitaries who attended the meeting and said that he would remain dedicated to the service of the society by following in the footsteps of his father.
