The Swachhata Abhiyan fortnight, which started from the birthday of prime minister Narendra Modi, concluded on october 2. During this, many programs were organized in ujjain, the hometown of chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Union minister Virendra Khatik also participated in these programs.

On the occasion of gandhi Jayanti, a cycle rally was organized from Kothi Road to Grand Hotel by ujjain Municipal Corporation and Smart City under the National Clean air Program in Ujjain. Through this rally, people were sworn in about clean air. A large number of people including mla Anil Jain, Mayor mukesh Tatwal, Municipal Corporation President Kalavati Yadav, collector Neeraj Kumar Singh, Corporation Commissioner ashish Pathak participated in this rally.

Union minister garlanded gandhi statue

On the occasion of gandhi Jayanti, Union minister virendra kumar garlanded the statue of mahatma gandhi at gandhi Balodyan located in Kshirsagar, Ujjain. During this, Shramdaan was also done in the garden under the Swachhata Pakhwada. Along with this, Safai Mitras were also felicitated while planting saplings under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign.

On the occasion of gandhi Jayanti, Union minister of Social Justice and Empowerment virendra kumar took part in various programs organized in Ujjain. He said that Swachh Bharat Mission has become a mass movement. prime minister Narendra Modi started it 10 years ago. He said that the cleanliness seen at railway stations, bus stands, educational campuses, government offices and other public places is the result of this campaign.
