Congress leader targets CM after sending relief material

Akhilesh Singh said that relief material has been sent by the congress party to help the people of flood-affected districts, which will be distributed among the victims. congress is not a party to remain a mute spectator.

'The government should be 'pro active''     

Responding to a question, he said, "Our request is that the government should be 'pro active' and come forward to help the flood victims. Here is a double engine government, citing which votes are taken from the public, but what has happened now? On bihar chief minister nitish kumar inspecting the flood affected areas, he said that what is the chief minister for? This is the duty of the chief minister, which he cannot avoid. Akhilesh Singh further said that if nitish kumar will not work even during the time of disaster, then what is he the chief minister for?

Many districts of bihar in the grip of flood

Due to excessive water being released from Veerpur and Gandak Barrage, most of the rivers of bihar have crossed the danger mark. According to the Disaster Management Department, east and West Champaran, Araria, Kishanganj, Gopalganj, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Supaul, Madhepura, Muzaffarpur, Purnia, About 11.84 lakh population of Madhubani, Darbhanga, Saran, Saharsa, Katihar and Khagaria have been affected by the floods. The government is making every possible effort to provide relief to all the districts.
