Important news for Delhi Metro passengers!!!

DMRC has issued an important information for delhi Metro passengers, in which DMRC has shared information about the affected metro lines and stations regarding maintenance work. Due to this maintenance work starting from tonight, metro services will be disrupted at some stations of delhi Metro. In view of the inconvenience caused to the passengers, the Metro has appealed to schedule their journey keeping in mind the maintenance work.

Maintenance on Millennium City Center-Samaypur Badli line

Metro operation facilities will remain closed for scheduled track maintenance at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station between Millennium City Center and Samaypur Badli of Yellow Line. This maintenance work will start late tonight, which will continue till tomorrow i.e. sunday morning.

Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines Metro Stations will remain closed

DMRC's Chief Executive Chairman Anuj Dayal said that during the maintenance work, Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines Metro stations will remain closed till 6:40 am tomorrow. At the same time, metro services will be unavailable between university to Kashmiri Gate and Kashmiri Gate to university on the return. However, normal train services will be available on the rest of the major sections of the Yellow Line from Millennium City Center Gurugram to Kashmiri Gate and Samaypur Badli to university stations.

Metro will run at an interval of 10 minutes

During the maintenance work, train services will run at an interval of 10 minutes and after that, as per Sunday's timetable, metro services will be restored normally. After which passengers will not have to data-face any kind of difficulties. With this information issued by DMRC, people will be able to avoid facing problems by starting their journey as per schedule. To avoid any inconvenience to the passengers, announcements will also be made inside the stations and trains on the Yellow Line about the destination of trains and the respective platforms for change during this period.
