Three farmers got electrocuted in Nalanda, two died

On Saturday, three farmers going to irrigate the field together in Nalanda, Bihar, got electrocuted, in which two farmers died on the spot while one was seriously injured. After this incident, the villagers are angry accusing the electricity department of negligence in the area. After receiving the information, the team of the electricity department along with the police reached the spot. The police took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The deceased has been identified as Surendra Yadav, a resident of Khudaganj and sunil Chaudhary, a resident of Jahan Baghicha, while the injured has been identified as Pramod Chaudhary, who is the brother of the deceased Sunil. At the same time, the injured is undergoing treatment in the hospital, but his condition is said to be critical.

The family of the deceased gave information

Regarding the incident, it is said that all three farmers had gone together to irrigate the field in the afternoon, but the electric wire had fallen in the field, they did not know about it, due to which this incident happened. At the same time, the family member of the deceased, Jeetu Kumar, said that paddy crop is still planted in the field. The fields of all three farmers are nearby, so all three had left home together to irrigate the fields. The electricity wire in the village field is very dilapidated, but the department has not replaced the wire.

police sent the body for postmortem

The station in-charge said that on receiving information from the villagers, the police team reached the spot with force. Both the bodies have been sent to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police is investigating the entire matter. The concerned electricity department team will be asked to replace the dilapidated wire.
