How are the leaders spending their leisure time?
With the end of voting after several weeks of busy campaigning for the haryana assembly elections, the leaders in the state are spending some leisure time and are now waiting for the counting of votes on october 8. While some leaders are spending time with their loved ones, some other leaders visited temples and holy places and sought blessings for better results.
This has been a tough year for the leaders in the state in terms of campaigning. First the campaign was for the lok sabha elections and after that the leaders campaigned for several weeks in the assembly elections. The campaign for the assembly elections in the state ended on october 3 and voting took place on october 5. After the voting ended on saturday evening, chief minister Naib Singh saini performed aarti at the Jyotisar temple in Kurukshetra. The bjp leader was accompanied by party leaders and workers.
Hooda meets workers
Senior congress leader and former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda spent time at his residence in rohtak before leaving for the national capital on sunday evening. Supporters and party workers have been visiting him since saturday and many were seen taking 'selfies' with the leader. Some rice mill workers also met Hooda on sunday, sources said.
Abhay Chautala spends day with grandson
Indian National Lok Dal general secretary Abhay Singh Chautala, who is contesting again from Ellenabad, spent the entire day on sunday with his grandson Udham Singh at his residence in Sirsa. Chautala said he was deeply influenced by freedom fighter Udham Singh, so he named his grandson after him and wants him to grow up and follow in the revolutionary's footsteps.
