MSMEs have emerged as a major role in the socio-economic development of Punjab. The bhagwant mann government is working day and night for the progress of Punjab. Due to the efficient policies of chief minister bhagwant mann, a strong base of more than 1,00,696 MSME units has been created in Punjab. More than 1,057 of these are large and medium units while more than 99,639 are micro and small units. This number is the result of entrepreneurship in punjab and the public welfare policies brought by the bhagwant mann government.

After bhagwant mann took power in punjab, continuous work is being done for the establishment and successful operation of industries. Investment and production sector has increased in punjab through MSME units and about 12 lakh jobs have been created.
