A youth died in the violence that broke out during the Durga idol procession in Maharajganj area of Mansoor village in Bahraich. The dispute started over playing music on loudspeakers. About half a dozen people were injured in stone pelting and firing and 30 people have been detained. On monday, the crowd came out on the road and set some shops on fire, which further increased the tension. Some people in the crowd were carrying sticks and iron rods.
