Congress made serious allegations against Dhami govt!
congress leaders held a press conference in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, and made serious allegations against the Dhami government of the state. It was attended by senior congress leaders like state president karan Mahara, leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya, former state president Ganesh Godiyal, Harak Singh Rawat and other prominent leaders.
The congress alleged that there were large-scale irregularities in the land in the state and said that the bjp government is cheating the people of the state. congress leaders claimed that during the tenure of Trivendra Singh Rawat, a 'sin' was committed in land matters by changing the land laws. According to congress leaders, the bjp government currently led by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has committed a 'mahapaap' by taking these matters to an even worse situation. congress leaders alleged that by changing the land laws in the state, many important lands have been transferred illegally.
'The action of the committee did not have any effect'
Former mla Manoj Rawat said that there are large-scale agitations going on in the state regarding land laws and the public is dissatisfied with the attitude of the government. He said, "The chief minister had recently announced in Agastyamuni that he is going to bring strict land laws." Manoj Rawat said, "The action of the high-powered committee constituted in the year 2022 has not shown any result so far." He alleged that some private companies have been benefited by changing the land law and the government has not maintained transparency in transferring these lands.
'Fraud in Park State land'
congress leaders claimed to have surveyed the land transfer in Haridwar and Pauri districts. According to him, the matter of illegal transfer of land has come to light in this survey. He mentioned 422 acres of land of Park State located near Mussoorie, which was acquired for tourism development during the time of Uttar Pradesh. congress says that out of 172 acres of land, 142 acres were given to an adventure sports company on rent of Rs 1 crore per year for 15 years. congress alleged that the state government has given this valuable land to a company for the purpose of benefiting it, while the government has taken a loan of Rs 23 crore from ADB to preserve and maintain this land.
