Reportedly in view of the maharashtra assembly elections, the round of allegations and counter-allegations continues between the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties. uddhav thackeray faction leader sanjay raut on wednesday (October 30) said that a case should be registered against both maharashtra Deputy Chief Ministers ajit pawar and devendra fadnavis for violating the oath of secrecy. A day before Raut's comment, ajit pawar had accused his undivided ncp colleague and former home minister late RR Patil of ordering an open inquiry against him in the alleged irrigation scam worth crores of rupees.

Meanwhile ajit pawar had alleged in a rally held in Tasgaon in Sangli district on tuesday that Patil had stabbed him in the back by ordering an open inquiry. He had claimed that after becoming the chief minister in 2014, fadnavis had shown him the file, which mentioned Patil's comments related to the order of investigation. Describing Patil as an honest and efficient home minister, sanjay raut said, "He had never done anything wrong. devendra fadnavis violated the oath of secrecy by showing the file to Ajit Pawar. How can these issues be discussed publicly? The governor should order to register a case against fadnavis and ajit pawar for violating the oath.''

Moreover sanjay raut also reacted to the question of rebels in Mahavikas Aghadi. He said that this keeps happening in the alliance. We will sit together and try to convince the rebels. The MVA has been successful in persuading the rebels in 90 percent of the seats of maharashtra assembly from where these leaders had filed nominations against the official candidates of the alliance. He told that shiv sena (UBT) candidates have filed nomination on 96 seats. Let us tell you that by the time the process of filing nominations ended on tuesday (29 October) in maharashtra, about 8,000 candidates filed nomination papers for 288 assembly seats in the state. Voting for the assembly elections in the state will be held on november 20 while the counting of votes will be done on november 23.
