Devendra Fadnavis spoken about giving support anywhere
According to sources bjp has taken a big decision regarding Mahim seat in maharashtra assembly elections. The party will not support MNS president raj Thackeray's son amit thackeray on this seat. bjp leader ashish Shelar has made it clear. bjp is supporting raj Thackeray's party on only one seat in maharashtra and that seat is not of his son amit Thackeray. That seat is Shivdi in Mumbai, where MNS leader bala Nandgaonkar is contesting the election. Earlier, bjp had talked about supporting Mahim seat, from where raj Thackeray's son amit thackeray is contesting his first election. But, now BJP's stand has changed and it is saying that it will support MNS on only one seat in maharashtra and that is bala Nandgaonkar's seat.
Meanwhile ashish Shelar said, "I am telling all of you through all you workers and media. This (BJP's support) is limited only to Shivdi assembly seat. Recently I had spoken about Mahim, you have spread it about the whole of Maharashtra. Now I am speaking only about Shivdi. Do not consider it about the whole of Maharashtra."
Previously bjp leader and maharashtra Deputy chief minister devendra fadnavis had said that bjp still wants to support raj Thackeray's son amit thackeray on the Mahim seat. fadnavis had said that efforts will be made to find a solution to this. In the Mahayuti alliance, this seat has been given to maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde's party Shiv Sena. shiv sena has fielded sitting mla Sada Sarvankar from Mahim, while Mahesh Sawant is the candidate of shiv sena (UBT) led by former chief minister of the state uddhav thackeray from this seat in Mumbai.
