Crime: Chhath Vrat woman murdered in Bettiah
In Bihar's Bettiah, a Chhath Vrat woman was killed by unknown criminals by cutting her with a sharp weapon. The incident took place in Basvariya Piuni Bagh of nagar police station area, where the criminals killed the Chhath Vrat woman by cutting her with a weapon while she was sleeping on thursday midnight. The deceased woman has been identified as madhubala Singh, wife of Niddu Singh, a resident of Basvariya.
The woman could not offer morning Arghya
It is said that a woman observing Chhath fast came to her home after offering Arghya in the evening, but could not offer Arghya to Lord bhaskar in the morning, because the miscreants killed the woman in the night itself. After the death, there was chaos among the family members. The woman has two small children, who are distraught.
The deceased's husband said that Chhath Puja was being celebrated with great pomp and the wife had come with her two small children after offering evening Arghya. Everyone went to sleep and at midnight the criminals attacked the wife sleeping in the room with a sharp weapon on the head, due to which she died. Both the children are crying badly.
police busy investigating the case
The police sent the body for post-mortem and handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem. The police is busy in further action. Bettiah SP Shaurya suman said that in Basvariya of Bettiah, a woman named madhubala Singh was attacked on the head with a sharp weapon by criminals, due to which the woman died. After the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. The FSL team and dog squad have also been called. Investigation is being done on every point. The criminals will be caught very soon.
