Situation worsens in Pakistan, Air Quality Index crosses 2000
When cold sets in india during diwali in november, the pollution level also increases. In the last few years, stubble is also burnt in these months. And firecrackers are also burst on diwali, due to this also the air Quality Index increases. At present, the AQI level has not increased that much in India. But the situation has become very bad in neighboring country Pakistan.
While the air Quality Index in delhi is currently around 350, if we talk about pakistan, it has crossed 2000. Which is quite frightening. The situation is such that the pakistan government has had to impose lockdown in seven cities due to air pollution. Let us tell you how dangerous it is to breathe in pakistan at this time.
AQI crosses 2000 in Multan
These days, poison has dissolved in the air of Pakistan. The quality level of Pakistan's air has reached the worst level at this time. The air Quality Index (AQI) of 2135 has been recorded in Multan city of Pakistan. Which is 189 times more than the standards of World health Organization (WHO). If the quality index is above 300, then it is considered dangerous. So one can guess how dangerous an air Quality Index above 2000 will be. Apart from Multan, Lahore's AQI is very bad. The AQI in Lahore has reached the level of 676. On Thursday, the AQI level had reached 784. Due to which Lahore had become the most polluted city in the world.

Due to air pollution in pakistan, people have also found it difficult to breathe. For this reason, the government of punjab province has imposed lockdown in seven cities. All government and private hospitals in the cities have been closed. The punjab provincial government has closed all amusement parks, schools, museums from 8 november to 17 november due to heavy smog. This decision of the government has been implemented in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Gujranwala and the districts where the air Quality Index is high.
