Protest of competitive students continues outside UPPSC...

Competitive students on monday staged a sit-in protest outside the gate of the commission in protest against the decision of UPPSC to conduct the Provincial Civil services (PCS) Pre, review Officer and Assistant review Officer (RO-ARO) examination on different dates. On this, the congress on tuesday alleged that the police lathicharged the students raising their voice against the 'arbitrariness' of UPPSC in Prayagraj. Earlier also, attempts have been made to crush the voice of the youth demanding jobs.

The congress Party President of Uttar Pradesh has reacted to the students' protest. ajay Rai has said that the yogi government, which is playing with the future of the students, is hiding its failure. 'The government is trying to suppress the voice of the youth'               

Meanwhile, Congress's in-charge general secretary (communication) jairam ramesh said that it is unfortunate that the students protesting for their demands in Prayagraj were 'lathicharged'. In a post on 'X', he said that the students raising their voice against the arbitrariness of the Uttar Pradesh Public service Commission should be listened to carefully. Ramesh claimed that this is not the first time that the bharatiya janata party (BJP) is trying to suppress the voice of the youth in this way. Earlier also, attempts have been made to crush their voice for demanding jobs or protesting against recruitment scams and paper leaks.

The student agitation that started on monday in protest against the decision of the Uttar Pradesh Public service Commission (UPPSC) to conduct the PCS Pre and RO..ARO examinations in two days is continuing for the second day today in front of the UPPSC headquarters in Prayagraj. Late night, the district Magistrate and the police Commissioner held a meeting in the commission, which remained inconclusive. The agitating students spent the night under the open sky and again started protesting on tuesday morning. The students who had gone to their homes at night, gathered again at the gate of the commission's headquarters on tuesday morning and started the agitation.
