Now BJP opposes CM Yogi's statement-If we divide...
Amidst the maharashtra assembly elections, the slogan given by Uttar Pradesh 'If we divide, we will be cut' is echoing loudly. Along with this, politics has also intensified in maharashtra on this slogan. Actually, there is a dispute among the leaders of Mahayuti on this slogan. Some are saying it is right, while some say there is no need for such slogans. Meanwhile, senior bjp leader Pankaja Munde has also not supported it. In an interview to The indian Express, bjp MLC Pankaja Munde said, "To be honest, my politics is different. I will not support it just because I am from the same party. I believe that we should only work on development. The job of a leader is to make every person living on this earth his own. Therefore, we do not need to bring any such issue in Maharashtra."
Before Pankaja Munde, nationalist congress party chief Ajit Pawar, who is a part of the Mahayuti, has also opposed this slogan. He says that the slogan 'Batenge ko Katenge' will not work in Maharashtra. He said last week, "I have said this many times that it will not work in Maharashtra. It may work in UP, jharkhand or other places."
Allegation of sidelining Pankaja Munde
Pankaja Munde is the daughter of late Gopinath Munde, a big bjp leader. Her supporters believe that Pankaja Munde has been sidelined in this era of BJP. However, due to Pankaja Munde's legacy and her being a big OBC data-face, the party cannot ignore her. Pankaja lost the election on her seat in the recently held lok sabha elections. After this, bjp gave her the post of MLC. Due to the agreement in the grand alliance, the Munde family's Parli seat has been given to the ncp and the ncp has fielded Pankaj's cousin dhananjay Munde here.
