Shiv Sena MP Deora targets MVA, accuses them?
Amid signs of growing discomfort in the Ajit Pawar-led ncp over the Hindutva agenda of the bharatiya janata party (BJP) ahead of the maharashtra assembly elections, shiv sena MP Milind Deora said there is no deadlock in the ruling Mahayuti. Former Union minister Deora, who is contesting against shiv sena (UBT) mla Aditya thackeray in the Worli assembly seat, targeted the opposition maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance and accused it of creating obstacles in development projects in mumbai and Maharashtra.
Rajya Sabha member Deora said in an interview to PTI-Bhasha here that the voters of maharashtra will reject the MVA's false narrative that the Constitution is in danger. He said, "Mahayuti is united and is contesting the elections with full strength. I cannot say this about the MVA.''
There is a tough competition between them
In the assembly elections to be held on november 20 in maharashtra, the Mahayuti alliance of shiv sena, bjp and nationalist congress party (NCP) led by chief minister Eknath Shinde is facing a tough competition from the MVA, an alliance of ncp (SP), shiv sena (UBT) and Congress. As the campaign for the assembly elections reaches its final stage, ncp leaders have indicated discomfort over the BJP's campaign slogan 'Bantenge to Katenge' and have even called for a common minimum program for governance in case the ruling alliance returns to power. On the Dharavi redevelopment project, which the shiv sena (UBT) has announced it would cancel if it comes to power, Milind Deora said the initiative is based on the dream of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, shiv sena founder balasaheb thackeray and his late father Murli Deora.
He said, "You may have a problem with a developer. You may dislike that developer, you can change the developer. But do not deprive two lakh people of Dharavi from getting a house." Deora said, "How long will you keep roaming around with the tag of Asia's largest slum?" He also said that the people of maharashtra have seen the 'false discourse' of the MVA's constitution being in danger during the lok sabha elections a few months ago. He said, "In the lok sabha elections, a huge false propaganda was done against the government, against the Mahayuti, that if Modi ji becomes the prime minister again, then elections will not be held and the constitution will be changed. people have seen that nothing like this happened." Deora said that the Eknath Shinde government in maharashtra has started many infrastructure projects in the last six months, which has changed the public's perception about the ruling alliance.
