Demand for implementation of OPS raised in Delhi!
Voice for restoration of Old Pension Scheme raised again from Jantar Mantar, delhi, a large number of government employees gathered and appealed to the PM. On sunday (17 November), a large number of government employees united at Jantar Mantar, delhi and demonstrated for restoration of Old Pension Scheme. All india NPS Employees Federation is agitating for restoration of old pension across the country in the name of "National Mission for Old Pension Scheme India". On sunday, this agitation was at Jantar Mantar, delhi, in which a large number of government employees participated.
Name given as jai Ghosh maha Rally
Manjeet Singh Patil, President of All india NPS Employees Federation, while giving information, said that this rally was named Pension jai Ghosh maha Rally and lakhs of employees across the country are confident that this matter will also be resolved under the leadership of Modi. A plea has been made to PM Modi from the stage to restore the Old Pension Scheme, we want the PM to listen to us. Many employees from states like Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Chandigarh, delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Telangana, delhi etc. and many departments of the central government reached this mega rally to join the demonstration at Jantar Mantar. Along with this, about 40 big employee leaders participated in the rally, including Ramlal Yadav, JP Pandey, pradeep Saral, Bunty Singh, Rajesh Bhati, sanjeev kumar Verma, Ramesh Birmod, Malik Rafiq, Jagmeet Bali, Amardeep Kaur, Prabhdeep Singh, naresh Jolan, Janak Singh Rawat, Tejraj Patel, ashish Kumar Singh, Ankur Tripathi Vimukt, Neeraj Patel, Shashikant Sharma, jaishankar Kumar.
Why do employees want restoration of Old Pension Scheme?
In the Old Pension Scheme, government employees get a guaranteed fixed income after retirement. This scheme provides financial security to government employees. In OPS, the entire responsibility is taken by the government, whereas in the New Pension Scheme (NPS), the employee also has to contribute.
