11th day of Nyay Yatra: Devendra Yadav and Alka Lamba targeted Arvind Kejriwal
Reportedly congress is trying to expose the promises, assurances and claims of aam aadmi party through the padyatra. In view of the upcoming assembly elections, delhi congress is seen making every effort. On the 13th day of Nyay yatra, delhi Pradesh congress President Devendra Yadav and Mahila congress President Alka Lamba reached vishwas Nagar's 60 Foota Road where the yatra was taken out. As it was the birth anniversary of former prime minister Indira Gandhi, women led the yatra today, while men were seen supporting the yatra behind the women.
Meanwhile after the success of Bharat Jodo yatra, in view of the assembly elections in delhi, the state congress has started Nyay yatra in delhi from november 8. The yatra started from Rajghat. There will be four phases in this one month long yatra. Today, the third phase of the yatra was also completed by reaching vishwas Nagar. During the yatra, the party is trying to know and understand the issues of the common people by talking to them and is hoping that it will benefit them in the elections. This yatra has started with the aim of visiting all 70 assembly constituencies and 250 MCD wards and has completed more than half of the journey so far. The first phase started from chandni Chowk in 16 assembly constituencies which lasted till 13 November. The second phase was held in 18 assembly constituencies from 15 to 20 November.
Moreover during the yatra which reached vishwas Nagar in the third phase, delhi Pradesh congress President Devendra Yadav said in an exclusive conversation with ABP news that today is the 13th day of our yatra. We have reached vishwas Nagar today and while passing through different assembly constituencies of delhi, we are listening to the sufferings of the people. Today's yatra has been dedicated to women on the occasion of Indira Gandhi's birthday. According to NCRB data, there has been an increase in cases of harassment of women. Out of 19 metropolitan cities, 30% of the crimes are being reported from Delhi.
