Sudden change in dubai visa rules..!? people beware..!
Dubai is one of the foreign cities where Tamils and indians live in large numbers. While thousands of people from all over the country travel to this city every day, the dubai government has brought a new change in the visa system. The dubai Immigration Department has tightened the rules for obtaining a tourist visa. It has been said that these new rules have been brought to streamline the visa application process and improve security measures. From now on, the dubai Immigration Department has said that to obtain a tourist visa to dubai, it is mandatory to submit hotel registration documents with a QR code and a copy of the return ticket to your hometown. Although this rule was in place earlier, it was not mandatory, but now it has been made mandatory. However, according to the new rules, these documents must be uploaded on the website during the tourist visa application process.
Visa application Process: Now only travel agencies are authorized to apply for tourist visas. Whereas, business entities, individuals, or families can apply for visit visas on their own. However, the same rules apply to both visa types, i.e. a copy of the hotel booking and return ticket must be submitted.
Financial Proof: Not only this but while applying for a tourist visa, one must show sufficient financial proof on their credit card or debit card. This is verified through a credit or debit card statement. A financial proof of 5,000 dirhams for a two-month visa and 3,000 dirhams for a three-month visa must be shown.

Impact on travelers: It has also been reported that many people are getting their visas very late due to these strict rules. Especially those who could not provide the required documents in advance have to wait for a long time. Earlier, passengers arriving in dubai for tourist visas could submit these documents upon arrival at the airport. However, according to the new rules, it is necessary to fulfill all the requirements before submitting the visa application.
