Eknath Shinde resigns from CM post, face not decided yet

After the assembly elections in maharashtra are over, only one question is roaming in the political streets of the state and that is who will become the next chief minister of Maharashtra. The politics of the state is currently revolving around this question. The Eknath Shinde faction of Mahayuti wants to see its leader as cm, while the leaders of bjp, which emerged as the largest party in the elections, say that the cm should be from our party. Meanwhile, it is very important to know what happened regarding the post of chief minister since the results of the assembly elections and till now. In the maharashtra assembly elections, Mahayuti got a historic victory with 230 seats. In this, bjp got the maximum 132, shiv sena Shinde faction 57 and ncp sharad pawar got 41 seats.

shiv sena chief Eknath Shinde resigned from the post of chief minister of maharashtra on tuesday (26 November). However, governor CP Radhakrishnan asked Shinde to remain the caretaker chief minister till the swearing-in of the new Chief Minister.

On the other hand, even three days after the results of the maharashtra assembly elections were declared, the situation for the post of chief minister has not become clear. Political rhetoric continues between bjp and shiv sena regarding their respective leaders becoming CM.

Meanwhile, in Delhi, Union minister Ramdas Athawale said about the cm data-face that the bjp leadership has decided to make devendra fadnavis the chief minister for the third time, but this has not been confirmed by the party yet. He also said that Eknath Shinde should be sent to the Center.

Regarding the chief minister in maharashtra, shiv sena leaders say that the assembly elections were fought and won under the leadership of Shinde, so Eknath Shinde should be made the Chief Minister.

On the other hand, bjp leaders claim that the public has given the maximum number of seats to our party, so the cm should be from their party.

Meanwhile, bjp sources also revealed that bjp will not rush to announce its candidate for the post of chief minister until the division of departments in the new state government is finalized.

Amidst all this, according to sources, on monday (25 November), Eknath Shinde faction sought support from ncp ajit pawar faction for the post of Chief Minister.
