Why Shankaracharya furious over unity rally of Bageshwar Dham chief?
Reportedly Bageshwar Dham Peethadheeshwar Dhirendra krishna Shastri is taking out Sanatan Hindu ekta Rally these days. Dhirendra Shastri's padayatra is in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh these days. Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has expressed displeasure over the Hindu ekta Rally taken out by Bageshwar Baba. Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said that, the people should not be divided on the basis of castes and the people should keep voting for us in one go, this is the feeling of the leaders here and to take that feeling to the people, the leaders have made Dhirendra Shastri a pawn.
Speaking on Dhirendra Shastri's Sanatan yatra, Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said that, in the Sanatan yatra, he is raising the slogan, 'Jaat-Paat ki Karo Vidaai, Hindu-Hindu Bhai-Bhai', Dhirendra Shastri is working as an agent of political power. Those who have come calling themselves Sanatanis, have been brought to take the agenda of politics to the people. This is a political game and it has nothing to do with Sanatan Dharma.
Speaking on 'If you divide, you will be cut off', Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said that, if you divide, you mean do not divide in castes, the Hindu people should not divide in castes and keep voting in one go, this is the sentiment of the leaders here, Dhirendra Shastri is being made a pawn to take this to the people. The slogan being raised in the Sanatan yatra is 'Jaat-Paat ki Karo Vidaai, Hindu-Hindu Bhai-Bhai', which means they are getting divided on the basis of caste. This is also their slogan, if you divide, you will be cut off. He said that, they are saying that other parties are doing caste politics. Therefore, do not divide in castes and remain Hindu-Hindu, then we will get the votes in one go. Dhirendra Shastri has come on the road to make this thing strong. He is working as an agent of political power.

He said, "Caste is the identity of Hindus. If someone asks you which type of Hindu you are, you will say that you are a Hindu, then who will believe you." He further said that this is our tradition and we have the idea of Varnashram. He further said that the movement should be for this that we will not humiliate anyone by believing in Varnashram. But if we bid farewell to casteism, then our identity will be lost. When our identity is destroyed, then how will we remain Sanatani. He called Dhirendra Shastri's visit a political game.
