These soldiers managed the crowd in swearing –in ceremony
Reportedly preparations for the swearing-in ceremony in maharashtra went on in full swing. bjp leader devendra fadnavis has taken charge of the state for the third time. Devendra Fadnavis' swearing-in has taken place on thursday (5 December) evening at azad Maidan. In view of the huge crowd at the swearing-in ceremony, there will be special security arrangements. More than 4 thousand policemen have been deployed. devendra fadnavis will take oath as the new chief minister in the presence of prime minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier on Wednesday, bjp unanimously elected a leader in the legislature party meeting. By being elected the leader of the legislature party, the way has been cleared for devendra fadnavis to become the chief minister for the third time. A large number of supporters of Mahayuti alliance allies bjp, shiv sena and nationalist congress party will also be present at the swearing-in ceremony. 40 thousand supporters of bjp will also attend the ceremony. Separate arrangements have been made to seat 2 thousand VVIPs including saints and mahants of different religions.
Moreover 520 officers and about 3,500 police personnel have been deployed for security arrangements. SRPF, Quick Response Team, Riot Control Team, Bomb Disposal Squad will also be present on the spot. Senior police officers will monitor the program. Security arrangements have also been made on the way to the venue keeping in view the traffic. 280 personnel including senior traffic police officers did the work of keeping the traffic normal. An officer said that traffic has also been changed on some routes in view of the swearing-in ceremony. There will be no facility to park vehicles in azad Maidan. Roads around the venue can be closed. The traffic police has appealed to the people to use public transport, especially trains.
