What did Iltija Mufti say?
According to news agency PTI, PDP leader Iltija Mufti said, "There is a lot of difference between Hindutva and Hinduism. Hindutva is a feeling of hatred, which was spread by Savarkar in the 40s, whose aim was to establish the hegemony of Hindus and the philosophy was that india belongs to Hindus and is for Hindus. hinduism, like islam, is a religion that promotes secularism, love and compassion, we should not deliberately distort it. The slogan 'Jai Shri Ram' is no longer about Ramrajya, but it is being used during mob lynching. hinduism is being distorted."
