Referring to Latur, Raj Thackeray demanded to pass the Waqf Bill...
The Waqf Board has claimed the land of 103 farmers in a village in Latur. politics has intensified on this, while MNS chief raj Thackeray has not only drawn attention to this issue by writing a long post, but has also demanded from PM narendra modi to get the Waqf Amendment Bill passed as soon as possible. He has also given a befitting reply to the parties opposing this bill.
raj Thackeray tweeted, "The news from Talegaon village of Ahmedpur taluka of Latur district is shocking. The Waqf Board has claimed about 75% of the total agricultural land of the village... due to which the livelihood of 103 farmers has come under threat. Even though the state government has said that we will not let injustice happen to any farmer, but this is not enough. The question is not about this land, how will it curb the terror of the Waqf Board which has been unleashed on the people for many years through arbitrary management?"
Referring to the Waqf Bill, raj Thackeray said, "A few months ago, the central government introduced a bill in parliament proposing amendment to the Waqf Act and the Muslim-dominated opposition parties created confusion in parliament and so the bill was sent to the parliamentary committee for reconsideration. Needless to say, the stand of the parties involved in the maha Vikas Aghadi was against this amended bill." After this, raj Thackeray also shared the details of the Waqf Amendment Bill in the post and also said that there is nothing wrong in its provisions.
The central government should not bow down to the opposition - raj Thackeray
raj Thackeray said that in PM Modi's second term, steps were taken to remove Article 370, ban triple talaq and build ram temple, which maharashtra navnirman sena was proud of and that is why we supported Modi in the 2024 lok sabha elections. I request the central government to not bow down to any opposition from the opposition. This bill should be passed in this session of parliament without bowing down to the opposition.
