Reportedly kashmir cm omar abdullah said the government takes its own decisions which impact the public. "After any decision, whether its impact is right or wrong, there is a need to get feedback... Sometimes it becomes difficult to get the right feedback within the government machinery because mostly you are surrounded by people who only praise you," he said. "So when such a meeting of civil bodies takes place, most participants come without any agenda and give their feedback and suggestions which prove to be beneficial," he said. The purpose of the meeting was to get suggestions so that they could be implemented.

Meanwhile the chief minister said that such meetings will be held twice a year in Jammu and Srinagar. He said that one of these meetings will be held in summer and the other in winter. He said, "Many issues came up during the meeting. As I said in the meeting, all the issues raised have been noted and we will inform the participants about the proceedings report in the next meeting."
