Hearing on bail of Abbas Ansari postponed in High Court...

Hearing on bail plea of Mafia Mukhtar Ansari's son and Subhaspa mla abbas Ansari has been done. Hearing in the case of Subhaspa mla has been postponed due to non-sitting of court in allahabad High Court. Now the case of Subhaspa mla will be heard on 18 december next week. UP government has already filed its reply on the bail plea in this case

On the reply of UP government, abbas Ansari's advocate upendra Upadhyay has filed his rejoinder in the court. Now the reply of all the parties has been filed in this case. In the next hearing, both the parties will present their final arguments. Actually, an FIR was registered against abbas Ansari under gangster Act in Karvi police station of Chitrakoot on 31 august 2024.

FIR was registered in the case of illegal meeting and threatening jail personnel while being lodged in Chitrakoot jail. Then abbas Ansari had knocked the door of supreme court in this matter. On october 18, the supreme court had directed the high court to decide the bail plea within 4 weeks. While this case is already pending in the High Court.

Bail has been granted in this case

In october itself, the supreme court had granted him bail in the money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The apex court had said that the lower court will impose such conditions so that the accused cannot influence the witnesses or tamper with the evidence. The ED had started investigation under PMLA on the basis of three separate FIRs. In the first criminal case, it was alleged that the partners of a construction company had encroached upon public property by tampering with the records. In the second FIR, it has been alleged that Mukhtar Ansari had taken money from the mla fund to build a school, whereas the school was not built and the land is being used for agricultural purposes.
