Human rights activist given protection from arrest?

As per report the delhi high court has given a big relief to human rights activist and ACPR national secretary Nadeem Khan by giving him protection from arrest. delhi Police has registered an FIR against Nadeem Khan accusing him of promoting enmity and criminal conspiracy. Justice Jasmeet Singh's bench has also directed the delhi Police that if they need Nadeem Khan's custody, then delhi Police will inform Khan in writing 7 days in advance. Apart from this, Justice Singh has also directed that Nadeem Khan will not go out of delhi NCR area without the permission of the court.

Perhaps during the hearing, senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for Khan, said that Nadeem Khan has joined the investigation and will continue to do so. Apart from this, the high court has also cancelled the non-bailable warrant issued against Nadeem Khan. Nadeem Khan had approached the high court to quash the non-bailable warrant against him and stop the investigation in the FIR filed against him by the delhi Police, which cited the crimes of promoting enmity and criminal conspiracy.

Moreover according to the FIR filed by the delhi Police, a video with the caption 'Modi Sarkar Me Hindustan Ka Record' was uploaded on YouTube on november 21 by the 'Akram Official 50' channel. In the video, a stall is set up towards APCR in an exhibition and Nadeem Khan is pointing towards a banner. Nadeem Khan was allegedly talking about "Nadeem, Akhlaq, Rohith Vemula, Pehlu Khan" and referring to the 2020 Shaheen Bagh protest, delhi riots, thereby portraying a particular community as a victim and inciting people.
