Reportedly the senior congress leader in maharashtra Naseem Khan made a big statement on 'One Nation, One Election'. Raising questions on 'one country, one election', the congress leader said, "If the government really wants to conduct simultaneous elections, then it should immediately dissolve the parliament and all state assemblies. After this, simultaneous elections should be held across the country and this election should be on ballot paper."

Meanwhile on the other hand, on the controversy raised over EVMs, Naseem Khan said, "We believe that there should be transparency in the electoral process. If questions are raised on EVMs, then it should be investigated. We want elections to be held through ballot papers so that the public's faith in the electoral process remains intact. The complete reliability of the election results cannot be ensured by counting five percent VVPATs and the entire counting should be investigated." Reacting to the delay in the cabinet expansion of the Mahayuti government in maharashtra, Naseem Khan said, "It is their internal matter, but we hope that the government will be formed as soon as possible so that the issues of the state can be resolved. Especially the Rs 1,000 scheme for women, farmers' issues, and the law and order situation should be resolved immediately."

Moreover when questioned about the Worship Act of 1991, congress leader Naseem Khan said that this law should be fully implemented by all courts. As long as this Act is in force, no change or dispute should be allowed at any religious place. He appealed to the judiciary to strictly follow this Act so that the country's atmosphere is not spoiled by the disputes of religious places.
