Reportedly delhi bjp state president Virendra Sachdeva claimed on friday that there will be an alliance between congress and aam aadmi party in the assembly elections likely to be held in february next year. congress has announced the names of 21 candidates for the delhi assembly elections on thursday night itself. The party has given ticket to former mp Sandeep Dixit from New delhi assembly seat which is the traditional seat of Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. On the announcement of candidates by congress, Virendra Sachdeva said, "There is no seriousness in this list. I still feel that both the parties (AAP and Congress) are trying to blackmail each other and in the end they will have an alliance."

Meanwhile on the 23rd anniversary of the terrorist attack on parliament, bjp said, "The allegation I made against delhi chief minister Atishi is public. My direct question to chief minister Atishi is that she should tell whether the petition that was given to the President to save Afzal Guru, accused of the parliament attack, to pardon his sentence, had his parents' signatures or not. If they had signed, then she should clarify her role. What was the compulsion that his parents had to come forward to save a terrorist. You are the chief minister of delhi, you will have to answer."

Moreover Sachdeva wrote in a post on the social media platform X, "Today is the anniversary of the attack on parliament and along with the people of the whole country, the people of delhi are also paying homage to the martyrdom of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives while protecting the Parliament. chief minister Atishi should condemn the parliament attack and give her condemnation statement on the role of Afzal Guru, who conspired to attack the Parliament."
