Meanwhile according to media reports, the indian government recently claimed that about 20 lakh CCTV cameras have been installed all over the country. Their purpose is to stop criminal activities, but the reality of these cameras installed for security purposes can blow your mind. If we look at the figures, about 1.5 lakh CCTV cameras have been installed in the country's capital Delhi itself. According to this, at least 1826 cameras have been installed at a distance of one mile in Delhi. Their number is at least 20 per 1000 people.

Moreover according to yogesh Mudras, MD of Informa Markets in india, out of the 20 lakh CCTV cameras claimed to be installed in the country, about 80 percent of the cameras are Chinese.
