According to the information, today was the last day of Mahashivpuran Katha. This accident happened at the entry gate of the Katha pandal. It is being told that due to heavy crowd at the entry gate, there was a ruckus, after which women fell on each other during the pushing and shoving. Suddenly after this chaos, a stampede-like situation was created there. After which the women started screaming for help. Seeing the situation worsening, the people around took control of the situation and informed the police. After which the police reached the spot with heavy security force.
The accident happened due to the crowd at the entry gate. Initial information has revealed that on the last day of the Katha, the police had not made adequate security arrangements. The people present on the spot tried to handle the situation themselves and all the injured were immediately sent to the hospital. Till the time of writing the news, the condition of none of the injured was critical and all are out of danger. people from nearby villages helped in handling the situation.
