Gang selling stolen gold jewellery busted in Delhi!

The police team of IP Estate police station of Central district of delhi has achieved great success in busting a gang of thieves. Along with this, the police has arrested a total of four accused including two thieves, including two goldsmiths. They have been identified as Mohammad Amir, Abdul Samad, Mohammad Asad and Mohammad Sahil. They are residents of different areas of Delhi. police has recovered a gold bracelet, a silver pendant and an artificial chain from their possession.

Woman had complained of purse theft

DCP M Harshvardhan said that in a complaint given to the police of IP Estate police station on december 23, a female complainant told that a small bag of hers was stolen near gandhi Market, which contained a gold bracelet, two silver pendants, an artificial chain, Rs 17 thousand cash and some documents. On the basis of the woman's complaint, a case was registered and investigation was started.

Two thieves arrested from LNJP Colony

For this, a team of SI mukesh Tomar, SI sumit Singh, SI rahul Dhama, ASI Sanjeev, Constable Koshinder, Constable Dinesh and Constable Kailash was formed under the supervision of ACP Jarnail Singh and under the leadership of SHO ashish Dubey. The team started investigating the case. CCTV footage was analyzed and local people were also questioned to identify the accused. Finally, on the basis of technical surveillance, CCTV footage analysis and local intelligence, the police arrested Mohammad Aamir and Abdul Samad from LNJP Colony.

Two receivers were also arrested

During interrogation, the accused told about selling the jewellery to a goldsmith named Mohammad Asad. On which the police caught Mohammad Asad on the information of the accused, from whom a silver pendant and an official chain were recovered. He told that he had sold the gold bracelet to Mohammad Sahil. Based on his disclosure, the police arrested Mohammed Sahilan and recovered a gold bracelet from him. The police have arrested everyone in this case and further investigation is underway. The police have claimed to have solved half a dozen cases with the arrest of the accused.
